gas spring

I need a gas spring for the front hatch on my 03 Sea Doo GTX SC Part # 269500937. dealer wants $55. for it. Anyone know of an aftermarket replacement? Thanks

I would expect the local car parts store to be able to match it to one they have that may be alot cheaper.
