This is a super dumb question, but I followed some others advice on here on how to fix the gas gauge.
As others have stated, my magnet fell out of the float. I'm just going to jb weld the magnet, but was just wondering if the magnet should be placed towards the top of the float, bottom, or middle for most accurate readings?
I assume if placed lower in the float the gas light will turn on a tad earlier, but will it show full when its full?
Edit: I'm gunna go with the bottom I think that would make the most sense, so the tank should be most accurate that way when LOW on fuel
This was kinda a dumb post and can be deleted I think.
