Fuel meter problem still unsolved

Ok here is wat i did.

Like they said here on tis forum i changed the F1 fuse in the baffler.

I testes the wires and they work (current is passing trough)

i putted son 12 v on the other connection that leads to the gauge works fine went from empty to full.

But when i connect the 2 nothing happens fuel gauge stays empty.

When the float is comming down the alarm go's off.


What could be the problem here

any help welcome
 
have you tried a new float, they become porous over time and dont float... even sometimes the magnets corrode and fall off!!
