Preparing to replace ALL the GREY fuel lines. Can anyone tell me what size and how much (feet of) fuel line hose I need? How about clamps? There is also a small black hose on the carbs. Does that need to be replaced as well?
Thanks!!!

I have a Seadoo GTS 3 seater and I did mine last season. I used 22-23ft. to my recolection. The size of the Line was 6mm and ywant to use these clamps. ( Oetiker stepless ear clamps s.s. 13.3 X 1/2 ) they will fit perfect on 6mm line. Go to Ebay and type in the Seller
(John102561) he sells them very cheap for a pack of 10....about $5.50. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY AT A DEALER !!! they are $2.99 a peice which is a F***ing ripoff. Lmk if you have any other questions.

Thanks very much. I can get the fuel line from an automotive parts distributor and will order the clamps from John102561.
Thanks again for your help.

Not a problem, anytime ! There is a special tool to Crimp them Oetiker Clamps just to let you know. It is like $18, but if you plan or getting more skis, it would be a nice tool in your box to HAVE. I'm just letting you know because my first go about with these clamps, i Ruined a few and threw money down the pisser. They can only be squeezed ONCE ! other than that they are worthless if they loose their shape.

For the Fuel Line if you are not getting USCG line go to a Local Napa and get the "GATES Automotive Line" that is second best to the USCG and will withhold in a pwc fuel system. Goodluck :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks for the info. Another question - there is a smaller diameter black hose running between the two carbs. I'm thinking vacumn hose??? Anyway mine is damaged but I checked at the local SeaDoo dealer and on our OEM Parts area but neither show this black hose. Any ideas??? Thanks, Jim

I'll be doing mine also....well actually Spim's friendly mechanic will do it for me, since I'm in Michigan and the ski is in Florida.
Post back on what you buy, size etc.

Stay away from the USCG lines (as Dr. Honda posted in another thread) as they can be just as bad as the tempo lines. Stay with the black auto line and add an in-line filter too.

Do the lines come off the Exhaust or go to the back of the hull? If I'm thinking of what your trying to explain...mine are dirty yellowish color. I could be misunderstanding you though. If it the real small thin diameter line you can get a roll of it in clear blue from watercraft superstore. I can give you the part # so you can see if that's the right line.

The hose I am refering to runs between the two carbs and originates at what I think is some sort of vacumn pump. This pump is actuated by the wheel the throttel cables attach to.

Can you tell me how to remove the Fuel Selector on a 1999 GSX Limited? I want to clean it and also replace ALL the grey fuel lines on this ski. Thanks! Jim
