Fuel Line question

So, I'm on my third time going thru the carbs. Last time, I think it was pulling air.

So I have a question, I was going to replace, I beleive the line in the attached picture. I took it off and noticed that it looked like there was something in the line. like some type of reducer. There is a hole the size of a pin hole. I can blow air thru it, but obviously is restricted. My question is can I replace this line with just a normal fuel line or does it have to be like the one I'm taking out.

From a seadoo microfiche they state that the part in question is obsolete. That part your looking at is part of the accelorator pump. That is something seadoo came up with in 97 to help with mid range bog.
