When you guys replace your fuel line do you just use hose clamps for replacements?

I use the good zip tyes with the stainless steel locking tab from McMaster Car. $8 gets you 50 of them.

zipties.... i'm way to lazy to screw on clamps.
I've used both, the stainless inserts, and good quality (non Harbor Freight) plastic ones and i've never had one come off.

I use zip ties. As said good quality ones, all zip ties are not created equal.

I have done a pull test on a hose clamp vs quality zip tie. I could not get either to come loose.

If going with Zip Ties make sure they are nylon, will hold up to heat and stretching much better. Not that temps under the seat get that extreme, just being cautious and they will last longer...

Here you go...
6614K62 1 Pack Smooth Body Nylon Cable Tie, 5-1/2"l,1-1/8"bundle Dia,30# Tensile Strg,uv Black

Hi guys, sooo while I was removing the fuel selector I pulled the rerun line off the tank which was fine as it was the only one that would have been off, it seems the res and on popped off also!!!! I looked in the book and it does not seem to show the Order which they go. Any way of telling?

Just a thought, but if you turn fuel selector to reserve and pinch off reserve hose it should fire up and die if your line is correctly connected to reserve. I assume this would work. Could be wrong.

If you look closely it's marked on the baffle.

I think he means he forgot how they go back on the fuel selector.
IDK if you line it back up on the hull and turn the knob to "on", if a nipple or a line corresponds to that knob position.
Maybe blow through it and find the off position and go from there.
