Fuel Filter Threads

Hi,

To start I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for all the informative information in this forum. Although this is my first post I've spent LOTS of time researching different topics.

I have a 2002 Utopia 205 with a Merc 240EFI. Just taking care of maintenance. As for the small fuel filter which is attached to the fuel lift pump...do I apply some sort of thread locker such as Loctite 567 (PST) on the threads before installation?

Yes... I would recommend using a liquid/paste fuel system thread sealer. (like permitex makes) Don't use tape, as it can plug the system, if a hunk would work it's way in.
