fuel baffle float ?

I have a 96 seadoo xp. Fuel gauge worked then stopped. Pulled the baffle out And found the magnet fell out. So I ordered the one in the pic but it has two magnets and the old one has one. The part number of the new one is 295 500 438, so will this new one work or no? I did find on the net where someone said to remove the top magnet and it will work. Thanks for all the help.

The new one should be the new molded type, white with two magnets. If that's what you have you've got the correct part.

yes....that is the correct one it will slip right in, you should have received a packet with instructions included as well, but its pretty str8 forward, slide it in.
