I have a 97 SPX and it's giving me a few issues...it was shutting off whenever I was on the water so I bought another lanyard and it didn't solve the problem. I replaced the DESS post last year and it solved my issue altogether...or so I thought. This past sunday, while cruising across the lake, it shut off again. It would restart, just like before, and go until it felt like shutting off again. At the end of the day, the boat wouldn't read either of my lanyards at all. If i plug either one into the DESS, I don't hear the two chirps and if I hit the start button I get one long beep. Has anybody ever experienced this issue before? I can't imagine my one-year-old DESS post is bad already!
