I'm going to look at this in a day or 2 but all I know is its a 2003 GTX, not super charged. By pics can anyone tell me more? I see a few different ones for that year..... its free and titled from a fried of a friend and I have to tow it a couple miles to boat ramp so im definitely going to take it, but want to know what I'm going for.... its been sitting over 10 years but most details are vague. Thanks for any input!

I have one like that and it is a 2 stroke 951 DI engine. Ski is heavy and I prefer the lighter ones that are more manueverable. I'm sure it is a nice ski but if that engine is bad, or you have fuel pump issues.... it could get expensive. Few people get rid of a good ski if there is such a thing as a good ski that is 18 years old. I wouldn't expect the engine to be good. Good Luck.

The hull looks clean. People pay money for skis with blown engines and other issues. Seems worth getting for free. worst come to worst you need a new engine and some maintainence to the jet pump.

I would say go for it, though I do agree with temp, people don't just give away running skis. So expect to have to spend money like this kind of money. You could get lucky though..

Got a look at engine today, he had plugs in for years and water in hull. I told him I'll pass but only because I have too many projects going on and is a hassle to tow it to ramp. He said if I change my mind its ok, but what do you all think? I cant put over 2k into this thing.... free aint always a good deal lol....

Ewwww.!! 4 -stroke. I won't even look at those. $3K for the rebuilt engine and too big and heavy. Mini boat rather than jet ski.

Moving to 4-Tec section. For free you could part it out by might not be worth the effort being full of water.

Not sure why you wouldn't take it? Why not spend an hour or 2 on it to see if it will run. Worst case, sell it as is and you will be surprised what people will pay for it. I'm in Florida every few weeks. PM me if you want specific advice.

I just saw your reply. I have 6 skis, 2 running, 2 working on and 2 parts. Too much going on. Your right though.... I guess if I take it and just sell it it's free money. I like money. I know it won't run and since there was water in hull, I think any electrical would be crap too. Thanks for the little push, I can still get it....
