why is the adapter to connect to the piece with the red cap so dang expensive!! its just a hose, dang! 49 dollars for this!! no way! http://www.shopsbt.com/sea-doo-jet-ski-flush-kits/12-215.html

so, has anyone come up with a home depot way to connect to these or to cut the out and replace them with hose fittings and valves?

and i am assuming you can do 1 engine at a time and not hurt the other engine right.....they are on seperate flush systems right....not connected. i am sure they aren't but just wanted to make sure.

i would like to come up with hose fitting to replace those red tipped things. and then run a splitter off my garden hose so i can flush both motors at the same time.

if you use those red tip pieces do you have to clamp anything off.....i did read the manual and will go back to read it again, but i just can't remember off hand.

thanks for the help all.

Hank:cheers:

You need to clamp the outlet hose , the larger one off the head , and make sure youve got a good stream shooting out the back . Ive got some soft jaw vise grips that work pretty well for this.
