Why do these people want so much for something they didn't maintain and is now not running. The guy on the Columbus cl add would not come off the 900. I offered 500

I bought a gorgeous 97 GSX on a single trailer once that was mint mint mint and I lost. it popped up at a storage facility and they called me. It was fresh water(WS reg #'s) in the storage unit with a OEM cover on it. I almost broke my hand reaching in for my wallet, lol. It had no title but the lady knew the guy so I could have put the work into tracking that down.

So I get back to the shop and find a new looking 787 on the outside that was froze tight from being put away with salt water in it. I put a battery in it and all it does is pop fuses(97 GSX MPEM's are a one year, one model only part that LOVES to fail).

The moral to the story is that I got a trailer and a cover for my $400 and wish I had not dove in. That torn seat turd with a popped MPEM for $900? That one is nothing you want even at $500

I think he's young he seems to think it's worth 2k if he can get it running. He will soon find out different. You can put any price on something but that doesn't mean that it will sell.

can't have trailers in the complex , sooooo tempted, to just buy it, put it in the porch, and sell the trailer, but for all the hassle, and getting yelled at by the wifey, with my luck, i'm thinking the saltwater prob sat in the motor for months, so it may be trashed, i'm slowly working on my trailerless jet ski set up, i have one of these

I went and saw that ski when it first hit CL. Your not missing anything. Steering and engine are salt locked and the thing was left for dead many years ago. Ebox has been cracked open and left, etc. Crusty old drunk guy lives in a shed behind someones house(seriously).
