Ya I don't know what that is.... I was like 99% sure it was illegal here in MO.... All I know is that could be one of the dumbest things you could do to that poor Yami..... NIGHTRIDER!!!!!

It's been flagged for removal. Someone must be hot for it and flagged it. Crmiz, I thought your garage was full?

Midnite Rider, Yamaha 700, LEDs galore, waterproof stereo - $2900 (Eaglerock Missouri)

00L0L_koZxXCHinuA_600x450.jpg

There is nothing like riding a waverunner across a lake at night. The water is usually like glass as you rip along creating a cool mist while you listen to your favorite songs on the surrounding four waterproof speakers evenly spaced around the riders. The tuner CD player with Ipod port is waterproof contained under the front hood. The neon bumper is actually diffused LEDs with navigational light design build in. The tail fins contain black lights that light up pink and blue rods making them appear like neon as well. The windshield's slight upper lip causes wind to go over your head so you can smoke a cigar or whatever while going full speed. Each lighting system can be instantly turned on off from the waterproof toggle switches on the dash. Midnite Rider has stopped cars on Kimberling City bridge over Tablerock Lake.... cause hords of people to run down flights of stairs to get a closer look at Backwater Jacks on Lake of the Ozarks.... during Branson Landing's inauguration of their 300,000 dollar water fountain display, Midnite Rider stole the show as all were watching the nite rider circling and weaving up and down their boardwalk halfway p i s s ing off their developers. Fishermen have claimed that they thought the Midnite Rider was an alien ship... There is nothing cheap on the nite rider (polished stainless, no chrome) with black trailer to match. Be careful spooning with a romantic mate under a sea of stars...you will end up in love and married.

Great work Oscar!!
Now we can all enjoy it forever. We should take turns re-writing the ad like.."There's nothing like riding a waverunner across the lake at night. People are waving there arms, screaming what an idiot you are, calling the cops....you know good ole Russian roulette. I mean it's so exciting watching the poles and stuff wizz by that I almost hit" ha-ha you get the idea.

2005 RXT Seadoo & Trailer - $2900 (Boca Raton)

00404_knLJjiaDdiA_600x450.jpg

2005 RXT Seadoo (3 seater) with 2005 Tandem Trailer. Seadoo has 200.9 hours, runs great, and has a brand new $150.00 battery, volatage regulator and lanyard post. Supercharger was rebuilt at about 100 hours with steel washers. Tandem Trailer is also in great shape, has brand new springs, new hubs, and new bearings, all that have never seen the water, yet.
Only problem is after running the Seadoo, turning the engine off, and removing the lanyard its still beeps, and the only way to stop the beeping is to disconnect the negative battery cable then reconnect it. The red warning light blinks and the Seadoo Fault Code is P0562 which means "Battery Voltage to Low".
For any other questions either call or text me at 561-914-4992. Salvatore (Sal)...

That ad had to saved as what not to do to your ski..................

Yes I'm glad u saved that.... When I seen that on CL I had to share it.... Can't believe it was flagged right after..... What kind of person does that to a ski!?

It made me start humming the batman theme from the 60's show.....batman...da da da batman da da da da batman batman batman da da da da da...O M G.....the love machine.....with matching trailer....wow hold me back......wonder if that windshield used to be a sand blasting helmet.?

As ridiculous as that thing is, if you really look at it there's a lot of work that went into that..... Crazy the things people will do with free time... LOL there are red and green led strips up front for indicators!! That windshield definitely looks like a blasting helmet lol but hey u can smoke a cigar or whatever behind it

Well I took a job. More of a gig really. Remember that 95XP800(X model) that was re-listed a couple times in the Atl area last year? Well the fella that bought it contacted me and I agreed to make it a running ski for him.

This aint no "clapped Out" style resto. I'm gonna throw an engine together out of the best of his parts(Frankensteining as Spim would say), do the fuel system and pump, redo any previous repairs that are questionable, then promptly test and return. Just the good ole Craigslist turnaround. I'll take some pics for ya(Nam's rules).

On a different note I took my twin piped RXX in to have the hours read....only 57 and 15mins!! I have it on a nice single trailer and was about to delete this ad http://okaloosa.craigslist.org/boa/4359512006.html and make one for just the one ski when this guy called on them. He seems pretty serious so keep your fingers crossed.

He understandably wants to bring a mechanic because he is not one. I welcome that of course cause I don't think there is one issue to be found between them.......very excited but a little nervous about letting them go(hoarder).

I spoke to the seller, he "seemed" legit, spoke specifically about compression, said he's not worried, had a gauge, and told me to bring mine as well. But obviously... proceed with caution with any ski

its about 10 minutes from my house, I was going to offer 800ish and then decided to pass for now, I have another project in mind, so I'm trying to commit as little cash as possible into anything so i'm not committed too far.

Generally I don't post a link unless I plan on passing on the deal, so its all yours if interested.

Well I figured out who bought it....
There's two guys in cape that I was speaking to about a few skis they had.... Neither had titles and they wanted almost a grand each.... Crooks if you ask me...

Yep the flippers got it. Their a little greedy too. No trailer? No issues? Yeah right

They probably told the guy it needed a complete motor and was pretty much trash....
I guess when your sole source of income is ripping people off....
It's funny, there's about 4 other rx's on CL in much better shap with trailers for the same price or less..

I know most of the flippers in the area...

I'm 99% certain who it is :)
probably bought it and went thru the carbs an hour later, he's pretty efficient and not working alone.
(and he's actually a really swell guy, we've bought and sold stuff from each other a few times)
but he's also in the business to make money first, and friends second.

Sold Sold Sold

Boat has new owner after a moment of No sale.

Inorder to water test and not have him trailer it in the dark. We came up to take it down his way VS going to where I was planning on which is 30-45 drive north. Place is called Markham park. Hydrodrags stops there for practice.
Has nice ramp and I'm familiar with location. You ride canal with banks of land on both side and then it opens up.

So we trailer it south close to airport/his house and ride some lake b/w highway and town homes.
On the way there what flies out?
The cup holder!
I warned him about the seat and they were safely inside his car.

As I'm walking to boat that new owner is backing up I get a honk honk. FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife cop)
:reddevil:
I knew why and explained I was selling it and I'm water testing it for them. He said that he believed me.
Expired sticker..........
He then goes to tell me its No Wake and I won't be able to get on plane until a 5-10 min trip under a bridge.

Make it there and it cavities like a mofo.
Have both brothers and their significant other in the middle of a lake.
Mind you I have probably 5-6 gallons.

Go back the whole way telling him its not the engine and it probably sucked something up through the pump.
Get it back on the trailer and look down the pumps a viola plastic!
I said "see" so little but enough to make it suck air and give the boat that sensation/vibration.
Wife even commented it sounded different the second time out. I felt it right away and was praying I had enough gas to get him smiling.

Had his brother drive it and get it on plane and deal was done.
:piggy:

Some parting shots.

Got him links to a manual / to this site / and link to fix loose throttle level that would constantly drop down killing rpms.
Tried to button up some loose ends but ran out of time before exchange.

:banghead:

So thats where it ends with my SeaDoo run.
I had a blast with them and couldn't of done it with out this forum.
I made some friends along the way and hopefully helped out a few more with my time here
They have been so reliable it hurts to sell but it was time someone else's enjoys them vs tucked away.

:grouphug:

The guy never came back for the two RXX's. This is after asking what size ball he needs for the trailer.....what a roller coaster ride Craigslist is.

Now I'm gonna switch it up and make a listing for the 57 hour twin piper only. We have always wanted to keep the one OCOD scored for us anyway. I can put one of my creations on the trailer next to it. I just need to find a little more top end so the wife's ski doesn't have the upper hand.

I thought this thing sold http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001...rsonal_Watercraft&hash=item35d41f11de&vxp=mtr. Good thing it's on the other side of the country. There are a few odd things about it though. Someone changed the grips and the handlebar pad. The splash guard is not there and the mats don't have the "Seadoo" on them. I wonder if it was made toward the beginning or the end of production?

Nah if you read the description it says he changed all of that. It's too bad he couldn't get direct replacement mats or leave the original stuff on it. I know we all like to mod but that thing is showroom minty
