Well guys it looks like winter prices are starting already. The cooler morning air has all us fs ski owners fighting for one more buyer if he's even out there. It's hard to sell a faded SPI for a grand with no trailer when the competition looks like this:http://okaloosa.craigslist.org/boa/4072072306.html Maybe there are some unmentioned problems.

This is a third 96SPI around here to compete with: http://okaloosa.craigslist.org/boa/4060384562.html

Remember the boat in Bell Fl for $350 with the single 717 that my Dad went and bought? I got it going for him then he lost the key. Sent the MPEM to Minne and got two new keys so it runs great again. They pulled the bad seats out of it to have repaired and that's how it remains. He is putting his time and money in a big pontoon so he is giving me the thing. I'm not sure what to do with it at this point.

Well I can't keep it. I've already obligated myself and my space to upcoming fiber hull projects. I'm throwing it out there in case I sell it out out the G-ville area before I even haul it 5 hrs back here just to make a couple hundred bucks off it.

I found a 99GSX with compression and complete(with two stands) for $800. I'm going to get it next week....pretty excited. It will be a donor boat for one of the CB hulls.

i think we know there are only 2 solutions to that problem. 1. Sell it on CL. 2. Keep it

knowing the matt braley super fleet, he might keep it :)

when did you move to st pete ??? we are going to mad beach / johns pass next wed, thurs, fri, then caladesi on sat..... mini vacation ===:cheers:

moved over to st pete at the beginning of aug. aww that sounds like fun, if only I had a running ski to join you. I'm not sure if that was an invite, but I woulda just invited myself :)

So a repair shop is selling this as a "fix'er up'er". Does that mean they have no clue what to do with it or that its going to cost more than its worth for the repairs?

could be both :)

they'll have a hard time at $800+ opening bid, but for the right guy it might work out. I'm going to put it on my watch list just out of curiousity
