HAH! I have the keep busy gene as well. I work a full time job, detail cars on the side, maintain my own vehicles, restored my Yamaha 701 wave venture.....once finished with that I picked up the XP. Mix that in with taking care of shiz around the house and the constant pet projects my wife has me in on and I'm constantly busy. Love it!

Now mind you both the builders are not responsible for the first time but in the end they should have found the leak or the cause of the siezure. It was leaking at the base gasket on the mag cylinder or at the case halves but on the mag side of the engine. I literally stumbled upon it by accidentally spraying WD-40 on the case while reaching for something and it started to bubble at the joint. That is when I tried multiple time to reseal the case and cylinders to no avail. I was using the recommended Loctite by Seadoo. I called Group K and and picked their brains and they said hands down don't use the loctite but to use Threebond 1211. So I ordered it up, sealed it up and it held the first time--I'm sold on the Threebond. 5 seasons later no issues.

I used the Dupli-Color WP101 Wheel silver.

Everyone has their own opinion on which way to go for everything, so for some it's buy with a warranty or build with with a satisfaction guarantee. Nothing wrong with either in my book, I just like to stay busy.

No family boat for me, it's all about the go fast-look good. Thankfully they're on board with me, it also doesn't help them that I can't afford the boat I really want so were stuck with the Speedster.

Wouldn't the air leak cause the engine to idle too high and the plug be ghostly white?

Possibly the idle was high, but in a jet boat what going on behind you isn't the same as sitting on top of the engine. To be honest I don't remember if the idle was higher or not. On land it always seemed "normal" like the other engine. But it was always the same piston and they always looked the same. And 5 or 6 times out was on the river, so there was possibly 9 hours run time total on each build if that. When we first got it we used it a bunch, but not like our ski's where we went out every Saturday and Sunday for the day and burnt a tank of gas in each ski each day. This thing is sorta low hours I'd bet there is around a 100-125 hours total on it. I'd say my longest non-stop running time was this year at about an 1.5 hours, enough time for me to go from Ocean City to Atlantic City and back cruising at 6k. Unfortunately the MPEM doesn't store the hours or so the dealer told me when they hooked up to it one day, bummer for me. Now with the problems sorted out and the rug rats liking to go out on it we use it a bit more a minimum of 8 times a season but I'd bet a max of 10, so within two outings I used close to 20 gallons of gas, so not too much run time.

The aluminum rims on the trailer remind me of the ones I had on my Go-Kart back in the day. The little kid seem to like it.

Rare XP model :)

1996 Sea Doo RXP Own a legend. This is by far one of the most fun bikes I have ever owned. The bike was running perfect but the starter was dragging and finally gave out. I priced them at just under $60 aftermarket online. Price is firm. Title signed and in hand. Price firm. Bike is sold AS IS. If it does not sell this week I will replace the starter and sell it for much more. I am only selling this bike to get some money for home repairs. 305-748-7018

Oh I can't wait to hear this.

Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Yeah it has more needs than just a starter no doubt.

OCOD, tell us a Hydro-Trailer story.

Well lets all sit in circle.
Day started early 8 am and head North to WPB to pick up this beauty.
Guy luckily met me right off the 95 exit #77

It needs new bearing that are plastic so if anyone know where to source them lmk.
A good wire wheel to the hubs and some paint.
Hopefully tires hold air if not I'll put some inner tubes.

I hit the road back South to #44 and then go all the west past 441 to pick up Matts hydro trailer for his support stuff when he's out on the races or just crusin the rivers.

Make it back at 11:30.
Not a bad morning in my opinion.

Now to the next chapter for everyone is Greyhound shipping.
Yes, Greyhound bus ships larger items the USPS won't ship b/c 75lb limit or $$$ of UPS.
I quoted online b/w 100-150 bucks.
Difference is one goes on next bus and other is by space.
That will be on Tuesday
:grouphug:
Looks really solid. Only needs bracket that attaches to ski and cover that goes over hatch to make it more water proof.
Has pole but no flag.

Score another one for nammer's thread..........................

Looks like there are steel wheels on that beach cart. We have a regular beach cart like this and I see these wheels on everything up here they take the salt and sand real good.

Perhaps you could get a hold of these guys and see http://www.beachcartsusa.com/. These wheels use a plastic type bearing in the wheels or just pimp it with some new beach meats like these, but that would defeat the savings deal. I'm pretty sure they sell the bearings. As amatter of fact when you go to the wheel page between the tractor tire looking one and the smoothies there are two bearing sizes listed 3/4 and 1", but you'll need to know the outside diameter(your hub).

Or figure out the size and order them from Mcmaster.com

Here is the PWC dolly

Good job on the road trip, I was hoping for something like it flew out the back of your pick up and slid across 6 lanes of 95 traffic. But better for Matt that it didn't.

SWEET, well u posted it, so that credit belongs to u, plus u picked it up too :)

but I do like the idea of this thread a lot, and glad it has contributions, looks like texas and alabama are dead :biggrinjester:

I will admit to you Florida boys, this has to be my second favorite thread, next to my XP thread that is.

Did you see that other ad I slipped in there? Have your buddy throw it on the truck.

yea for real, for u pennsylvanians, no title = no problem

i wish i had space for more deals, stupid condos sent a letter to my fiance's dad saying my "recreational vehicles" are visible, no shit they're visible, they were in front of the garage for 3 days when i was working on them and letting them dry off from taking them out, and it's a one car driveway, so i always park my truck in front of it

Some times the seadoo's that people are trying to sell on Craigslist, really just need a vikin funeral..

Yeah I used to work hard to save them all but I must admit when I look at that moldy 96XP on the ground my mind starts to quarter it up.

Heck other than the hood I'd save it. Let JSG buff it out then ship it east to me and cherry up the flux capacitor under the seat and were good to go. I could probably find something to do with those southwest motif seat cushions too.
