Geese I don't want to enter the four stroke world but I've never seen a better chance. I'm pretty sure that motor with compression goes for about $1500 on the used market.

I'm also an enabler, you'll never hear me tell someone don't buy a ski, unless it's extremely overpriced, and i mean extremely, i'm good with paying a little more for something that's running and in good condition

hey guys, just thought about something, I think i knew this a long time ago, but if your mpem is bad, can you still check compression by jumping the solenoid?
 
Yep, lanyard off, fuel off, spark plug boots on ground posts and have fun.

I've ALWAYS wanted one of these little buggers....

I'm going to try and talk my buddy into buying it, nothing better than when your buddy owns the boat you want, no storage hassles.. he has a lift :) It would be fun just to putz around the canals and head out on the river on a calm day. I already asked my wife if I could buy it and she said "hell no !"
