I can match that ski count but it's another good deal that I'm hungry for. Spim- your on fire!! The best deal on cl up here is my 95XP on a single for $1100. I've got to throw some feelers out to try and shake one of these old racer's part stash loose.

are you looking for anything in particular ? or just a big pile of aftermarket stuff for cheap ...

The latter. But I do need a X4 exhaust hose for the 787 from wb to outlet(wouldn't mind one of those billet outlets either).
The stuff I actually need is not near as good as the stuff I want.

Check out mikidymac answer on reason OP stalling out after few mins of running on last page.
Is it similar problem?

ocod, I think you were referring to me right? the on land part sounds like me, and that nasty black stuff did spew out, and I did have the needles out, no idea if they are leaking at all, and it had a hard time starting at first after the carb rebuild, and I prob did have it flooded, but once I clamped the line off, it started and now it starts great, just wont run in water, nor stay running without giving it a tiny gas

Yup,
It was for you.

If it starts religiously but have throttle issues its the carbs.

You'll have to take them apart and check how it is now.
I know when I started I confused the HS (zero turns out) and LS(1 turn out) settings and it would idle but no throttle response or died.

Check HS and LS jets / FF / check valve in pump body.

if only i lived near you ocod, I actually dropped my spi off today, a car mechanic i met a couple weeks ago, who works on jet skiis on the side is gonna take me up on the gsx barter offer

I just wanted to post a special Thanks to member FLKustom for a hot tip on an add on CL. Owner had it advertised as a 1991 seadoo with no model, turned out to be a 1998 GTXL in pretty dam good shape and I got a real fair price on it. After some hassles with a flat trailer tire in the owners driveway, i picked up a $35 tire this morning and over lunch, swapped it out and its now in my garage !

Now I have 6 ski's, 3 of them 951's so now I know what I'm going to be doing on my nights and weekends till Mid September.

Great Thread !!!

Just trying to repay for all the help you have been :)

Sounds impressive.

75+ mph Sport Drag Boat with Trailer for Only $8,900! (Fort Lauderdale)

You won't find a cooler boat at this price anywhere on the water. The hull and paint job is in excellent condition. The Ford 460ci freshly built motor pushes close to 500hp. I have all of the receipts for over $7,000 for the motor alone. You can't even buy a good wave runner for this price. I just put a new axel, tires, rims, and wheel bearings on the trailer to make it road worthy. This boat is 100% ready to go on the water or to be trailered anywhere. Call Craig for more details at (561) 441-2747.

ok, on to my new project, no mechanical work for me, i'm gonna let the other guy handle that, sorry I keep asking all these basic q's, but

is there a way to switch the piece with the choke and dess key? I'm thinking no, because I read the bottom comes as one piece

how can I switch this middle pad, there is a round magnetic plug that I don't think fits through the hole, I was thinking about just cutting a slip in the plastic to slide the cables through

Sea-doo Tony Doukas racing jet ski, it's in mid condition, missing the engine and steering wheel. But still good to use on the waters. If more info contact by email.

Hey guys TDR Racing made the loud water boxes back in the day. They make your ski sound like an old Motocross track. I bet that thing had an awesome engine and steering(hence it being missing)
