:coolgleam:

The S7's are hot, a customer of mine has one. Dude get the latest, hottest Audi when it comes out.

Say it isn't so Oscar, a Subaru??? Man, I thought only lesbians drove Subaru's. LOL. They are cool but a ton of 20 something kids by me have one with the trucker mud flaps on it (like the one you pictured). Get some pics up man. What about a GTI or a Golf R? Congrats man, just poking fun.

they're supposed to be badass drivers cars, but oscar, man u are too big for a hatchback, u need one of these, u know to make sure you can get to the proper ski locations

All I say 2.5L 265hp AWD!

Audi only has 2.0L and not as fun driving as WRX plus almost as $$ as STI.
Kinda going down but in a nice way. No CPO's!

Trying to spring up to STI but may want to upgrade wifes Xterra to a Jeep. My STI payment would almost = 2 payments
:o

Yup everyone talks about flaps but I'm keeping it stock for now!

As a previous owner of 2 different A6's I will pass on that car. I had a 2001 A6 Sport Quattor manual 6 speed with the 2.7T then I traded it for a brand new 2005 A6 Quattro Autotragic with the 3.2 hoping it would be more dependable. Wrong I was.

There is no feeling like having the car roast its entire ignition system 750 miles from home and the dealership refusing to help you get home after having the car for a week and not being able to fix it. Having to make your own way home then fly back to retrieve the car 1 month later (and one lease payment while not using the car) to bring it home.

Never gain.

If anyone finds a good deal on a Challenger 1800 with twin Rotax engines please post up my good friend is in the market and I am trying to help him out.

The newer platforms have stepped up but theres always issues.
Audi/VW 1.8T were plagued w/oil sludge until they changed recommend oil interval to 3000k

It is way beyond quality of the product, it is the principle of the horrible experience. When the 05 burned up 750 miles from home an the dealership and Audi USA both said tough Sh@# you are on your own, when the car is a lease, I was beyond pissed. Then having to make a lease payment while the service department flopped around with no clue how to fix the car for an entire month. Beyond belief.

This does not count about 20 visits to the service department locally to fix many many problems with the car over the 6 month lease period. When a turned the car in it was 12K miles below the allowed mileage for 2 reasons:

1 - it was always in the shop
2. We did not trust it to drive it further than around town.

When the lase came up in 08, I bought a used 2001 BMW 330i with 75K miles on it, drive it up until 2012 and traded it in with 130K trouble free miles. Like an idiot I traded it in on an RX8 which is thecar version of our boats. :)

Thanks for the PM and link.

Matt - That is a pretty nice boat but not a good enough deal chasing it across the country.

I had an ~05 one.
Gas mileage sucked but I loved the sound when it would go over 6000 rpm

Yup the WRX STi is the MOST fun car I've ever driven. Buddy of mine bought one in TX and we flew out there and did a straight drive back(21 hours) and it was the most perfect vehicle for that. He chipped it and it was flat out amazing. Sooooooo unassuming.

Is he using the Cobb Accessport?
I'm scarred that comp records flash and voids my powertrain
