98 Speedster- 1st i tested to make sure the fuel guage worked by unplugging the plug at the baffle, & tested it with a 12V supply, After that had life and went to full. I marked each hose 1,2,3,4. And removed the baffle, ( Hardest part bent over in that hole
and followed the directions and the pictures from a previous post about dremmaling a hole in the baffle and located the *f1 fuse* and chipped away at it as much as i could untill i could see there was a space inbetween and then blobbed over it with sodder, I then brought the baffle back up to the boat and plugged it in and moved it left to right and the fuel guage came alive!, I brought the baffle back to the table and melted a zip tie to cover up the slice i had to make to acess to fuse, I melted in with the solider gun. Then i lightly sanded the rough plastic to ensure small pieces of the plastic repair wouldnt fall off into the tank. And it was done! whole thing from removal to install was alittle over a hr. Saved me $160! Any questions email me at stangkid3085@hotmail.com or call 920 544 6235. Id be glad to help someone else like they did for me! Pictures attached
