With all the discussion on battery's needing to be disconnected to charge so the MPEM doesn't get fried.
I added a battery disconnect I found on line good for 200 amps, the knob if turned to "out" you can take the knob out to prevent anyone from starting the ski.
If I need to charge the battery I turn the disconnect off and put the charger to the battery.
The accessory wire you see goes to a automatic bilge pump and is fused at the battery.
All wires were loomed and Tie-wIMG_3324.JPGIMG_3325.JPGIMG_3326.JPGIMG_3327.JPGrapped after I took the pictures.
Hope this may help someone.
Regards

Found it on e-bay, @ 12 bucks. it is 12 VDC and 200 amp
Was going to put it on my snowmobile but there is no room.
I fabricated the mount out of aluminum and made up the cable out of garage parts. (i am an electrician) and a few stainless steel nyloc nuts and screws to the top of the battery case handle.
You can get a short pre-made cable at any chain auto part store to go from the positive battery terminal to the switch.
Where the switch says "out" you can take out the center of the switch part like a key so no one can start the ski.
