Fish finder for Speedster

I would like to add a fish finder to my 2010 speedster. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I realize that I should mount the transmitter to the outside of the boat for best results. Anyone have experience with this, what fish finder would be recommended (willing to spend about $400) and where best to mount the transmitter. I did do some searching but did not come up with much for the Speedster.

Hey, we installed one on our jet ski and it works great. The build of the Sea-Doo jet boat and the jet ski are not all that different. You will likely have similar results. I just bought a Garmin Fish Finder for my 06 Sportster. Hope to install it in a couple weeks. Interested in some pics as well as to where others have mounted the transducer. I’ll post some myself once I’m done.
