check your oil pump alignment there should be a line on the lever with the cable that goes to the carb and a line on the pump it's self. use a mirror to make sure they're lined up.
Got the parts in for the GS, wear ring installed and bearings installed, got the drive shaft out!
I didnt order a seal for the pump bearings, and I had to demolish the steel ring the carbon seal rides on. That sucker was stuck solid, had to use my air hammer to break it loose enough to get the clip out, which as also stuck.
So now I need more parts. Oh and BTW the wear ring in the freezer trick works like a champ, especially after i took the pump housing out of the hot wash tank.
Got the GS all back together. I need to know how much oil I should have put in the pump cone. I got a 6 oz bottle of sea doo oil and it says its good for 3 changes. I filled the cone up, the ski was titled back slightly being on the trailer, so I dropped the jack and tilted the ski forward and kept filling until oil came out the hole.
Yes, now use your pop-off tester and leak test it to be sure that water can't get in, then yer good to go. Always refer to your shop manual for your ski, it has a pictoral and torque specs.
