took out the boat for the first time. must say these things are very simple to launch.
gave it fuel throttle first time and it reeeeevvvvveeddddddd then about 5-8 seconds later i was on plane. took it a bit. got up to what the speedo thougth was 50. ran really well. didn't die or sputter.
the port side motor runs about 500 rpm higher at full blast compared to starboard motor. port: 6500 starboard 6000 full throttle.
seems like the port motor moves the boat better when running one engine at a time too.
i wonder if i have a decent wear ring on the port side and a bad one on the starboard side.
the dang oil jug leaks oil out of the low sensor hole. that seal doesn't hold the oil worth a crap.
it may just need to have the cable adjusted on the starboard side to get more RPM to match the port side. not sure.
other than that it ran fine.
reverse....pretty much takes all she has on the throttle...is that normal?
thanks.
