So my wife and I took the '97 GTI and 2000 RX that we bought back in February out for their first rides today.
Everything went flawless, the machines ran perfectly.
I was a little concerned that the tell-tale/pee hole on my wife's '97 wasn't really "peeing" much, especially not compared to the jet of water coming out the pee hole in the side of my RX. But we kept stopping and checking the engine and it was staying nice and cool and no alarms or anything.
I was curious about the hose that is on the starboard side of the hull next to the fuel vent hose. It is a clear line and it goes all the way to the back. The hull fitting has a one-way valve in it to prevent anything from coming into the line. This line isn't currently connected to anything...just lying in the bilge. I can't find any fittings where it should go to. Any ideas on this hose? This is on the '97 GTI.
