Factory Pipe Billet Filters

Just like the title says. I am in the works of installing a Factory Pipe on my 1995 Xp800 and the strainer that came with the pipe was pretty shot, especially around the inlet / outlet area. So I am in the process of getting one made. A few others have asked me about them and showed some interest so I'm throwing this out to everyone to see if there is anyone else. The more interest the less the production costs and the cheaper i can get them made.

This is a 3D picture of what they will look like. I changed things up a bit with using barb fittings on the in and out. Everything else will stay the same. Also the O-Ring and Filter Screen are included but not shown in the view.

Anodizing is also an option as i will be getting mine done (colors are possible or just clear).

Got some numbers together this morning. Its looking like $75 shipped in the continental US. Let me know who all is still interested and how many you would like. I will get them made which should take about 2 weeks to get them back from machining and then anodizing is a quick turn around. Once i have them in my hands i will let everyone know. Pay-Pal for payment.

These will be clear anodized. This will help with corrosion that is happening to the current ones that come with the pipe.

This is a new style screen i have been working on. This one will filter all of the water that is coming through the filter and not just the side ports. Let me know what your thoughts are on this.

I would be very careful. The fpp one was designed to keep trash out of the jets on a water box or pipe. It was open so debris could just flow by. The way you have it in the pic it would clog very easily. If you want to keep everything clean you need alot of surface area like the big strainers have
