exhaust water leak

hi there i noticed one of my freeze plugs on both engines exhaust has sprung a leak. to off tuned-pipe and found a corrosion hole. My question has anyone used jb weld to plug hole.

Yes... but it's not recommended.

It's best to have it properly welded.

I did mine as a temporary fix, got me throught the season.. They did start to drip again after a couple of months.. The problem is the that the whole plug is going bad, you only see the part that has eaten all the way through..
