Exhaust gas temperature faulty

Its code P-0544, anyone know if its OK to drive? the check engine came on.

i think were going to need some more info

have you recently worked on your seadoo ? how were you riding the ski before this happened ? do you have any aftermarket IC or anything like that?

i would say its NOT okay to drive until this problem is fixed.. seams to me like you could be melting away the insides while your riding and your ski wouldnt even tell you

Have not done any work, other than dealer winterization and start up in summer.
Very light use. its an 05 RXT, beeped once and check engine came on and flashes. can turn off and restart will run for awhile and beep again. No aftermarket stuff.

does your ski have an intercooler? there could be something partially blocking it.. or you may have melted the sensor and it needs replacement.. its like a 60 dollar piece.

do you run the ski for long with no hose attached to it?
