Here's some data for you.
Charged the battery, apparently it was almost dead from running all my own tests on it previously.
Put the ski in the water, it started right up. If I eased on the throttle, I could get it up to about 4500 RPMs and felt like I was going 20mph. It would idle all day if I sat there at 1500 in the water. But, if I slammed the throttle down, it wouldn't do anything (bogging). I drove it, maybe 10 minutes or so around the bay.
Took the ski out of the water. Ran a compression test, 130 rear cylinder, 142 front cylinder.
Water poured out of the exhaust outlet on the back of the ski (This still concerns me as I've never seen a lot come from this on other skis)
If it's time for a top end rebuild, who do you recommend for bore and new parts?
