Just wondering how hard it is to swap out an engine for a new engine? I have no cylinder compression in my starboard engine. I picked up another engine and am looking to install it myself on my 99 Challenger 1800. How difficult is this? Will I need a repair manual or can I just pull the bad engine and swap the parts off the old engine and onto the new engine?

Yep, download the manual, from here or other sites, you'll need an alignment tool to reinstall the new engine and use a hoist/pully to lift out of the engine bay to save your back.. :) Checkout the videos/forums on sbtontheweb they have lots of installation guides information.

Better rebuild those carbs, and fuel/oil system, before using the new engine or else you'll be buying another one.. :)
