Engine sounds like its skipping?

Hi guys. As I pull away from the dock my 2007 180 Challenger SE sounds as though it is skipping or struggling to get to a steady rpm. After a couple of minutes and more gas the engine seems to get into a grove and doesn't have a problem the rest of the day. Any ideas, maybe bad gas from sitting all week or maybe it needs a tune up?

Typical 2-stroke. They always need a good rev to clear out. Don't worry about it.

If you haven't put fresh spark plugs in for a while, You may want to. (it may help a little)
