It's not good for anything that wasn't meant to burn it.

I don't mind burning alcohol, but the Fed's want the car companies to have better fuel economy, but the more alcohol they put in the fuel, the worse our mileage will get.

Yeah the sad part is the MPG sucks. The stuff cost just a little less but mileage decreases like 25%. So in the long run it cost us all a lot more.
