One more question. I’m always trying to learn and understand these fun things we love to ride and tinker with. Since I did not remove the carrier, I couldn’t inspect and see exactly how it was built. What type of bearing is this? Is it a bearing with rollers/raceways or is it more of a seal carrier that just basically has a channel full of grease? Looking at the shop manual it looks like the latter.
