in the near future i am going to be installing my rebuilt engine into my 1999 challenger, my question- has anyone had good luck with the SBT drive line repair kit? my carbon seal looks to be the original (looks old with slight chipping on the edges ) so i figured while everything is out i would rebuild driveline also. any suggestions/opinions on oem vs. sbt or other would be gratefully appreciated!! thanks, Tim

None of the aftermarket carbon rings are worth a darn. If your stainless ring isn't gouged, or discolored... I would get an OEM carbon ring... and a new rubber boot. (the aftermarket boots are OK)

here is a pic of each, there is slight discoloration on the stainless ring, but when i put the two together it is silky smooth . i am on a tight budget so i think i will just get the carbon and the boot. boot feels stiff and weathered.
