Wondering how many more seasons I will have with the motor! Last year, I installed the oil shut off valves on my lines but was after the Seadoo sat already for over two months after being winterized. I started her up the other day and had the puddle of oil out of the exhaust. A couple of start ups and cool downs later and now no more oil coming out... Looks like the seal should hold again! LOL... Compression test at 140 on each cylinder. I am at just about 1000 feet above sea level so true reading would convert to slightly higher. The lakes are still frozen but the ice is melting more and more each day. Hope to get it on the frigid water within the next week or so.. Just need them to get the docks back in! Water temp is hitting about 41 during the day and should begin to start heating up from here on out! COME ON SEASON!!!!

Also looking forward to getting out on my other toy!

As bad as I want to get on the water, just not possible here for at least a month....

And even then it will be VERY cold water...

What part of Ohio are you in? I am just northwest of Columbus..

20 minutes south of Cleveland. I normally put in near Burk Lake Airport which is just east of Cleveland. Nice protected harbor, good ramp and nice parking. From there you can go in either direction and do things. Nice central location..

But I'd drive to meet you to go out on the water...

You a North Coast PWC member? I joined over the winter after I found the site and saw the trip they all took over to Kelly's Island.. I am hoping to get up there for one or two of their get togethers this summer

Your in ohio and want to get in the water in a week? Let alone a month??? I'm in mid missouri and won't even think about hitting the water until May, even then. Brrrr

Don't you have to tune your carbs for every 10degF? I was always afraid of running my 787 too lean and blowing it up at the (early) start of each season.

I will take it out once or twice just to get my fill until it warms up ! When I had my motorcyle, I would do the same thing. Once the bug of going out wears off, my senses come back to me and realize how much it sucks to be out in the cold! LOL
