Hi All - New Member, 1st post, couldn't find anything via the search function.
I was attempting to siphon the gas from my boats (2 2004 4Tec's). Is there some sort of anti-siphon device built into the tank filler? I can get a 3/8" fuel line in about 6" and them I run into some resistance. Don't want to push too hard for fear of puncturing something. I want to be able to use the fuel in the boats to run a generator in case of a prolonged power blackout. I've rigged up an electric fuel pump to get the gas from the cans to the boats but seem unable to access the fuel in them.
Thanks for any help which may be forthcoming.
