Does the line from the oil tank go somewhere?

Hey guys,

I noticed that there is a line coming from the oil tank going around and underneath fuel tank, it is not connected anywhere is that normal? or does it need to be plugged in somewhere?

It is connected to a check valve which lets oil OUT of the tank, but restricts flow the opposite direction.

It is only for venting the tank (if it gets overpressurized from heat or flow). I've only seen these with the check valve as the end point and not a tube after that. But what you have going on this is actually normal.
 
The check valve actually lets air in and not out. There should not be a hose connected to it. Remove that hose as it will suck water into the tank.

i believe this is put there to bleed the air from the oil injector line and is only used by a knowledgeable mechanic. So i won't be touching that.:hurray:
