not really, here is what the service manual states and the interpretation in parenthesis...
– Remove both intercooler hoses. (at the ic, both upper and lower)
- Let the intercooler drain, then connect the bottom
hose. (not much will come out)
– Pour approximately 200 mL (6.76 oz U.S.) of
antifreeze into the intercooler. (they forget to tell you to get a short piece of same size hose connected to a funnel and connect the other end to the top side of the ic and pour in the top side of the ic which is actually the exit side under normal operation)
– Then pour approximately 300 mL (10.14 oz U.S.)
of antifreeze into the exhaust manifold.(they forget to tell you the upper hose of the ic goes to the exhaust manifold and just attach your funnel to this upper hose of the ic and pour in here.
– Reconnect the upper hose.
So, basically, you are just disconnecting one hose and pouring in both sides of it, make sense? the manual is not clear at all, I'll give you that.
