Do I have wrong were ring

Ok I just bought 1995 seadoo sporster and I'm changing were ring. I got the old on out and it was shot, but the part # seadoo gave me is 271000290 and that's what is on new ring with paper tag. But it is to big , my pump housing has a number on it. 2710002:confused49. So what I am asking is this ring tagged wrong? The best I can measure is the outside of the ring I need is about 6 1/4 in. Out side diameter, the one I have is about 1in to big in diameter. I found number on my impeller 271000454. So cam any one give me a seadoo part number to what I need, thank you all,

First... adding random threads about "wrong part number" and "help me" with nothing in the post, will get you no help at all. As said in your other post... bump your original question. Most people won't go digging around to figure out what you are asking, and then they will eventually ignore your name since your post's don't make sense.


OK... it's real easy... if the new ring is an inch too big... then you got a ring for a 155mm pump. Your boat has a 140mm pump. And yes... your OD should be about 6-1/4". (give or take) and the ID is 140mm. (~5.5")

Return that ring to who you bought it from, and ask for a 140mm ring. (OE P/N 271000290)
