Hi,

I was wondering what would be the best and easiest way to remove hard water line and slime build up which turns real hard once it dries on the bottom of the hull. Any suggestions?

I had tried almost everything under the sun,and got the main bottom cleam but still had a faint scum line that wouldnt' even come off buffing it. Found a product from my seadoo dealer called "Off and On" its in a blue and red bottle. You pour some into a shallow bowl,and paint it on and let sit for a minute or two,then just hose off. ABSOLUTELY MINT when you're done. My speedster is a 97 and I leave it in the water all summer.Pull it out every month and clean the hull,and it looks like new!
Should be able to find it at most marine supply stores.

re-post about cleaning dirty hull

it does have some acid in it,so use in well ventilated area,and wear gloves and work clothes. If you get any on you,just rinse it off.
