Did they sell me a 155 and not a 215?

Hello,

I have a 2007 Sea Doo Wake Edition. When I bought it was advertised as the 215 model. As I read up it seems people are getting thier 215s to do around 70mph. Mine tops out around 53 or so. Did they sell me a 155?

what are your max rpms and how many hrs are on it. best way to tell is at the back left of the motor you should see the supercharger.

Max rpms are anywhere from 6800 - 7000.
Going to look at the craft.....

It does not say supercharger anywhere and I am not seeing one.
There is 8 hours on the engine and computer (last guy destroyed both).

yup you have a 155hp one. id be going back to who ever sold it to you.

Out of curiosity what would would be involved to put a blower on mine? What sort of cost?

-ECU
-PTO housing
-Flywheel
-pistons
-Supercharger
-Impeller
-Pump housing (Think 155hp has a plastic pump but 215hp has a metal one)

Also i think youll need new injectors pluse labour to change everthing if your not doing the work your self. Your best bet would be to sell the ski and buy a 215hp if thats what you want.

Im looking into getting a 2009 RXT-X 255. I am all about three seaters, want as much power as possible and a comfortable ride. The GTX Limited iS 255 caught my eye but I dont want to spent that kind of money on a ski. I love the suspension = totaly what I need for the lake I frequent.
