Hey y'all. I bought a 2012 Sea-Doo GTR 215 and the previous owner noted there is an electrical issue somewhere in the ski. It only occurs when trying to start the ski, and is more frequent after running for a while. When the key is attached, sometimes it doesn't register and I cannot get any beeps or the display to come on. If it does recognize the key, the ski turns over and runs like a dream.

I checked the main wiring harness and saw no corrosion or damaged pins. This leads me to believe it is the post or key given everything runs incredible when it recognizes the key. Does this sound feasible?

Also read online somewhere that the key should have a resistance of <10 ohms from the wall to center contacts. I can occasionally get a reading of ~8.7 but also see 300+ or infinite depending on lead direction indicating a bad key.
