in the process of doing top end, and on the head, one is is good shape, the other (the one where my compression was bad) seems pretty chewed up in comparison...divets and such.
so should I replace the whole head? or can it be cleaned up? or can i just buy the dome somewhere?

If they are not too bad, they can be cleaned up but don't remove excess material, this will lower your compression. Just remove the high spots, don't polish it smooth. Domes are not replaceable on factory seadoos but there are aftermarket heads with replaceable domes for the racers.

you can buy used heads pretty cheap if you like.

make sure you clean out the crank good and get all the ring pieces out.

You will find many parted ski ads in the classified for not much money, and most
of our members offer Good parts!

i cleaned the crank out already. what should i use to remove the high spots? and should I oil those as well when i put it back together?
