Crazy Vibration RXT 255

I thought the shaft had stripped out from the excessive amount of vibration I was getting plus I was playing pretty hard just before it happened.

Anyway a hour of standing in the lake while on the boat lift I pulled her apart and bingo..... Drift wood! The impeller had sliced into it but not in half so it was stuck on on blade.

Ps I only dropped one bolt.... Lol
Thought I'd post this as I'm sure it's been posted before but thought I'd share. I could not see a thing from the out side, maybe if I had my bore scope. But flashlight in the dark I saw no signs of anything... Just a FYI.

Totally! I was expecting some big damage.
I'll probably do a new sleeve this winter thou but that's cheap

It happen to me also can you imagine a small seed of fruits....stuck in the impeller...it cause a lot lose of power..

So here we are again next year.... crazy vibe again. I'm assuming another obstruction. Is there better intake grates a guy can get to screen out some of this nightmare!
