CRANKSHAFT JOURNAL PITTED - 717 SEADOO

The crankshaft front bearing journal is pitted and a bit low. The rest appear to be in good condition. Have SBT crankshaft on the way. What's suggestions on using it in this condition?

I don't think a seal rests there, but even if it did you should putting a little 515 or 518 on the outside of the seals when you assemble anyway to prevent air leaks.
 
Thanks for reply. The area pitted is where the outter bearing rides. It was toast and suppose the vibration pitted it. Think it will be ok to run like that?

That little notch keeps it from spinning in the journal, so yes, I'd run it, but put a little 515 or 518 there when you assemble. Can't hurt...
