rkkoeb Active Member Sep 7, 2023 #1 I picked up a 2001 GTS jetski with a 717 motor that was bad. I took the motor apart and found that the rotary valve gear has moved on the crankshaft. mikidymac Moderator Staff member Moderator Sep 8, 2023 #3 You need to remove the PTO and I have not seen gears that have shifted stay when trying to move back to center. I would say you need a reman crank.
