Hello all, I was hoping someone on the forum could anwser this question for me. I have a crankshaft from a 1997 challenger 787, the bearing #SBT BR16, does this mean the motor is an SBT motor, if so can i put OEM seadoo bearings in to replace these worn bearings, or do i have to go thru SBT?
Thanks in advance

Regardless if it's an SBT crank... you can use OE bearings on it. SBT doesn't have any special sized bearings.

The easy way to tell if it was rebuilt by SBT is to look for welds on the crank pins. After SBT trues the crank, they weld it in place.
