Should I replace the Impeller Shaft along with the bearings?

Had an anti rattle cone crack and let water into the jet pump cone, so I disassembled the jet pump to inspect the bearings. I'm very glad I did because you can see the thrust bearing was broken. I'll order the bearing/seal kit from OSD. Do you typically replace the impeller shaft when you do this? I didn't check to see if there are any bad grooves or rough spots on the shaft, but coming up on 30 years old, I feel like I should just replace it and be done with it. 1996 Speedster, typical 140mm jet pump.
