I'm using premix on one of my SPi's and i was just wondering if anyone knew if it would be okay to use tcw3 oil in the oil tank for the crank oil bath. Would it really matter that much in that situation? I have a bunch of that stuff laying around and cant use it and i thought maybe this was a good way. Would the additives of the xps and the tcw3 mix wrong and cause a bad reaction?

You should use the same oil as you use in the premix with the fuel. On older machines the oil can seep into the cylinders and burn with the premixed fuel. That's why the rotary valve shaft in the cases uses the same oil as the injector from the same tank when it uses the oil injector pump.
