Hi,

I just finished rebuilding my 2001 GTS and ran into a few issues with the oil injection system. First thing I noticed with the oil tank half full the new oil filter was empty no oil was getting by (air?). I disconnected that hose and filled up the filter and end hose by gravity on both ends. Also bleed the oil iniection pump by loosing the bleed screw.

After cleaning all the oil mess......

What about the hose that goes from the oil tank to the bottom of the crankcase, does it need to be bled too?

No, it is gravity fed and all air will bleed out of the hose that connects to the top of the tank.

Ah ok

Maybe the oil filter was empty due to a gravity issue since the hose was too short. Replaced it with a longer one hopelly that was it
