2002 sea doo water spraying from exhaust side of engine. I tried to crank the engine over in my drive and it wouldn't turn at all. I charged battery, removed plugs and tried a crank and noticed water spitting out of spark plug holes. Cleaned plugs, put back in and cranked again. This time it turned over fine buit still wouldn't start. I turned the water on in flush port and kept trying to start engine. After about 3-4 minutes the engine turned over and ran great. I let it idle for 3-5 minutes with water running. I checked engine compartment and noticed quite a bit of water in the bottom and it felt oily. After looking closer I noticed the water was spraying out of the exhaust side of the engine. Is this normal?? What have I done or what can I do to repair this?
Thanks,

You should never have the water urned on without the engine running, it will flood the engine. Check the exhaust to see if you have a crack in the cylinder or exhaust.Sometimes the steel plugs in the exhaust pipe develop small rust holes and leak water. It is not normal, repair it before it develops into a big problem.

Karl, Do you think the block could be cracked from running the water?? What would be the best method to fix this issue? I can't get my head down between manifold and hull to see where it is leaking from. I can't feel where it could possibly be coming from?
Thanks,
